Brazilian Boob Job

A short while ago I was sent a press release about the ‘Brazilian Boob Job‘ which has just been introduced to the UK. Having not exactly been blessed with a ‘full chest’, I have always been very interested in the idea of getting breast implants so I got in touch with them immediately. We spoke about the possibility of me doing a video diary of the process but I am a little too modest to go that far. Instead, I went for a consultation with a top consultant plastic surgeon, Mr. Chana.

Jag Chana works in several locations but I went to see him at the Spire Bushy Hospital in Watford. He was very kind and gentle and really took the time to talk me through the entire procedure, explaining what happens before, during and after surgery. I was measured along several different lines and angles of my chest so he could get a clear idea of what exactly I would need and what would suit me.

After being shown a large selection of implants we decided that if I did have the procedure done, I would opt for a natural teardrop as this would give me larger, fuller breasts while still looking very natural.

The Brazilian Breast Augmentation procedure is revolutionary because the implant is not only shaped to fit many different breast shapes and sizes, but has a unique polyurethane coating. This coating encourages the body to accept it and the breast tissue to grow around the implant, securing it in place. This also helps to reduce the risk of capsular contracture.

Mr Chana says:  “The most common complication from breast implants is capsular contracture, which is an abnormal response of the immune system to foreign material.  This response hardens the breast implant and distorts its shape.”

One of my biggest worries about having a boob job has been the fact that I may want more children at some point and that I would not be able to breast feed. However, he explained that implants would not effect feeding and that as my chest is quite bony, I would probably have the implants placed under the muscle so it would not interfere with me producing milk.

As with any plastic surgery, there is a great deal of thinking and research to be done but Mr. Chana really opened my eyes to the ups and downs and has filled me with confidence. I would definitely opt for the new Brazilian Implants and put myself in his capable hands so if you suddenly notice a difference on my videos….you’ll know I’ve been back to see him!
